Real Piece of Work is a devised theatrical piece set in a dystopian future. It follows the experiences of two humans as they learn socially acceptable behaviours in isolated captivity. Devised by Kasey Gambling, Joanne Redfearn and Debbie Zukerman, this piece explores what it is to be a woman and questions contemporary Western ideas of what a woman ‘should’ be. Real Piece of Work asks the question: “What is inherent human nature?”.
